Guided mine tour of prettau

Discover the fascinating world of mining …..

Copper was mined in Prettau for more than 400 years. Today the mine gallery of St Ignaz has been opened to visitors. The mine train takes visitors more than one kilometre into the enchanting world of the subterranean.

From April, 1 to October, 31
Tuesday - Sunday: 09.30- 16:30 Monday: closed
In the month of August the mine will be open every day!

The last tour 3 p.m., later tours only by prior arrangement!
Booking - Always necessary for groups; in peak season also for single visitors!
